Hyundai Motor Group has announced its Q2 revenue for 2025, stating it has recorded the highest ever quarterly revenue of $35.2 billion and a YoY increase of 7.3%. On Thursday, the South Korean automaker reported a strong quarterly performance, following revenue of $32.3 billion in the first quarter.

Even with record-high revenue in Q2, Hyundai reported that its YoY quarterly net profit declined by 22.1%. Its net profit fell from $3 billion to $2.36 billion, a YoY decrease of $640 million. Its Q2 operating profit also dropped from 8.2% in Q1 to 7.5%. Citing the reason for the decline in profits, the automaker stated that the increased tariffs and current global trade climate resulted in lower net profits, despite achieving record-high sales figures.
Hyundai announced that it sold 1,043,000 vehicles globally in Q2, showing a 0.9% increase compared to the same period last year. However, its core automotive revenue surged 5.1% YoY to reach $26.9 billion.
