Nissan has announced the extension of Zero Gravity Seat Technology to a wider range of models in the Middle East. Drawing inspiration from NASA’s research into ideal human posture in zero-gravity conditions, this innovative seat is designed to reduce fatigue, optimize spinal alignment, and enhance driving comfort.

Initially, Nissan’s Zero Gravity Seats were offered in the Nissan Altima, which quickly gained popularity for advanced ergonomic support and added features. Now, as part of extending this seat technology to more models, the newly built Nissan Kicks, Nissan Pathfinder, and Nissan X-TRAIL SUVs will come mated with this technology.

All trims of the Nissan Patrol SUV now have Zero Gravity Seats as standard, adding another layer of luxury paired with massage functionality. This new feature enhancement not only improves the comfort level of one of the Middle East’s best-selling luxury SUVs but also makes the city commutes and off-road adventures even more comfortable and entertaining.

Nissan developed its Zero Gravity Seats in collaboration with Yamazaki Laboratory at Keio University, designing them to mirror the body’s natural posture in a weightless environment. It features 14 precisely positioned pressure points that minimize pressure on the spine, promote better blood flow, and reduce strain on joints. This technological innovation is extremely useful on long-haul trips, offering a fatigue-free driving experience.
