How Much Is the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq?
Cadillac’s mid-size Lyriq SUV, the brand’s bestselling electric vehicle through the first half of the year, rolls into the 2026 model year with a few notable additions — chief among them the 615-horsepower Lyriq-V, Cadillac’s first V-badged performance EV. The rest of the lineup gets a few tech upgrades, including the latest version of GM’s Super Cruise hands-free semi-autonomous driving tech, an AKG Studio sound system on the midrange Premium trim levels and a new augmented-reality head-up display for the range-topping Signature trims. But overall, the basic package is largely unchanged, which should keep the Lyriq at the top of Cadillac’s EV sales charts. For 2026, the Lyriq starts at $60,695 (all prices include a $1,495 destination charge).

Trim Levels
Cadillac is renaming trim levels across its lineup for 2026, replacing the old Luxury (and Sport) 1, 2 and 3 with Luxury/Sport, Premium Luxury/Sport and Signature Luxury/Sport. While that aligns more directly with other luxury brands’ naming conventions, it doesn’t change the content of those trim levels. The Luxury and Sport split makes the Lyriq family appear more complicated than it really is; Sport trim levels are the same as their Luxury counterparts, just with their own wheels and grille, plus dark-chrome and black exterior trim, for an extra $500.
The basic Luxury and Sport trims ride on 20-inch wheels and feature LED exterior lighting with welcome and walk-away animations, a fixed panoramic moonroof, and keyless entry and starting. Inside are synthetic leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and ambient lighting. The digital instrument panel and infotainment touchscreen share a 33-inch widescreen display that includes Google Built-In and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The latest version of the Super Cruise hands-free semi-autonomous tech gains improved Google Maps integration. It is standard on the 2026 Lyriq, which means all of the lesser safety systems that enable Super Cruise are also standard. These include forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure steering assist, blind spot intervention, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system and automated parking.
Buyers who step up to the Premium trims get a hands-free power liftgate, ventilated and massaging front seats, the new 23-speaker AKG audio system, active noise cancellation and a rearview mirror camera for a clear view aft even if the driver’s line of sight is obstructed by passengers or cargo.
In addition to the new augmented-reality head-up display, the Signature trim levels add 22-inch wheels, heated outboard rear seats and tri-zone automatic climate control.
Cadillac’s V-Series vehicles benefit from more than just extra power. The Lyriq-V features a lowered and retuned sport suspension with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, summer performance tires and a unique front bumper. It also gets a black roof, additional drive modes to extract the most performance from the electric SUV and exclusive front seats upholstered in unique synthetic leather. The V Premium adds a more powerful onboard charger, as well as an opening panoramic moonroof and upgraded interior trim.

Powertrain Specs and Range
Regardless of trim level, rear-wheel drive is standard on every 2026 Lyriq; all-wheel drive is optional on all, adding an electric motor to the front axle. Pricing for 2026 hasn’t been finalized, but AWD cost $3,500 for 2025.
A single electric motor generates 365 horsepower and 325 pounds-feet of torque; AWD boosts output to a total of 515 hp and 450 pounds-feet. The Lyriq-V’s two motors deliver a combined 615 hp and 650 pounds-feet.
The 2026 Lyriq draws power from a 102-kilowatt-hour battery. Cadillac says RWD versions have the same EPA-rated range of 326 miles as the 2025 model (official EPA estimates for 2026 are not yet available). AWD Lyriqs can travel up to 319 miles on a charge, although the optional 19.2-kilowatt onboard charger reduces that to 303 miles. The Lyriq-V has an estimated range of 285 miles.
