Rolls-Royce has unveiled three Bespoke motor cars, inspired by China’s legendary Dunhuang mural paintings. The luxury car manufacturer showcased these trios exclusively through Prive Office Shanghai, introducing three unmistakably designed models: Phantom Extended, Black Badge Cullinan, and Black Badge Spectre.

Located on the historically important Silk Road, the Mango Caves of Dunhuang have been humanity’s most breathtaking artistic accomplishments. These murals, painted and carved into cave walls over centuries, showcase the cultural intersection of East and West. To celebrate this legacy, Rolls-Royce has designed three flagship models that reflect the art of Dunhuang with modern bespoke craftsmanship.
Phantom Extended

Rolls-Royce unveiled the Phantom Extended, a one-of-a-kind model, in a two-tone finish of Ningye Purple and English White, paying tribute to the Tang Dynasty’s skies and poetry. Its Silken Spirit motive is hand-painted on the C-pillar and coachline. Inside the cabin, it has a Bespoke Starlight Headliner that comprises 1,344 fibre-optic stars and 192 shooting stars. The gallery also features captivating artwork, which is painted on black leather using a reinterpretation of Chinese reduction block printing. Its dual-tone cabin, featuring Black and Cashmere Grey leather, Piano Black and Cashmere Grey Canadel wood, and stainless steel Silken Spirit inlays, adds to the premium refinement and unique cabin ambiance.
Black Badge Cullinan

Another model presented was the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cullinan Series II, which debuted in Danqian Pink and 23-inch forged wheels. Inside, the British luxury car manufacturer offered Blushing Pink leather with 107,000 intricate perforations that form an abstract sky motif. The rear seats feature Navy leather with contrasting piping, setting a dual-tone effect. It also has a glowing Silken Spirit graphic in the Bespoke Starlight Headliner.
Black Badge Spectre

For the electric showcase, Rolls-Royce presented Black Badge Spectre finished in Qingshan Blue and Diamond Black, referencing the deep blues of Dunhuang murals. Its illuminated Grille in turquoise further adds to the attention-grabbing stance. Inside the cabin, the Black Badge Spectre features Turchese and Black leather for front and rear seating arrangements. It also features illuminated treadplates, starlight doors, and a bespoke Starlight Headliner, with each detail carefully balanced for handcrafted harmony.
