【PCauto】On the evening of June 26, 2025, Xiaomi announced the pricing for its second vehicle model, the YU7:
Xiaomi YU7 priced at RMB 253,500 (approximately RM 150,000)
Xiaomi YU7 Pro priced at RMB 279,900 (approximately RM 165,000)
Xiaomi YU7 Max priced at RMB 329,900 (approximately RM 195,000)

835km CLTC Range: Longest-Range SUV in Its Class
Prior to the official launch of YU7, Xiaomi had already announced its many specifications. As Xiaomi’s first SUV, YU7 inherits the design language of the SU7, but is not a slightly improved version. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, the YU7 measures:
Length: 4999mm
Width: 1996mm
Height: 1600mm
Wheelbase: 3000mm
Notably, its length and wheelbase surpass those of the Tesla Model Y. Combining fastback silhouette with 10 integrated airflow channels, YU7 achieves an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.245.
For drivetrain, the standard variant accelerates 0-100km/h in 5.88 seconds, reaches a top speed of 240km/h, and delivers an 835km CLTC range—the longest in its price segmentation.
YU7 Pro is equipped with dual motors (front and rear), achieving 0-100km/h in 4.27 seconds with a 770km CLTC range.
YU7 Max accelerates 0-100km/h in just 3.23 seconds, achieving a 253km/h top speed, and is equipped with a 101.7kWh CATL ternary lithium battery, offering a 760km CLTC range.
All variants come standard with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform supporting 5.2C ultra-fast charging—capable of replenishing 620km of range in just 15 minutes.

High-Strength Body with Embedded Roll Cage
Xiaomi YU7’s body frame adopts ultra-high-strength 2200MPa steel. Compared with mainstream 1500MPa hot-formed steel, it offers 40% higher tensile strength and 24% increased yield strength.
Additionally, it incorporates an “embedded roll cage” system, also constructed with Xiaomi’s 2200MPa ultra-high-strength steel. Using hot gas expansion forming technology, the structure is embedded within the A-pillars and B-pillars, increasing pillars’ load-bearing capacity by 35% and 70.5% respectively, significantly enhancing body rigidity during rollover scenarios, providing maximum occupant protection.

For the chassis, YU7 comes standard with front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension systems, featuring continuously variable damping shock absorbers. Mid-to-high trim levels are equipped with closed air springs that actively adjust stiffness and ride height. Xiaomi Intelligent Chassis system further incorporates road preview capability for predictive adjustments.
All Variants Are Equipped with LiDAR
The intelligent driving assistance system was previously considered a weak point for Xiaomi’s vehicles, but the Xiaomi YU7 has quickly addressed this issue. It is equipped with a 10 million clips-level end-to-end large model, and is equipped as standard with NVIDIA’s next-generation Thor in-vehicle computing platform, delivering a maximum computing power of 700 TOPS, along with standard LiDAR.
YU7 also features 4D millimeter-wave radar to enhance driving safety in rainy and foggy conditions. The application of camera ALD coating technology effectively reduces glare and ghosting, enabling the system to adapt to various complex environments and deliver smarter, safer assisted driving.
