The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee is ready to receive major interior and exterior styling tweaks as part of its mid-life update. The latest version of the Grand Cherokee is based on the 2022 model year and has been almost the same, with no major technical or interior upgrades. The automaker hasn’t confirmed if it will completely change the exterior styling of the SUV, but for now, it has shared a few teaser images.

With the shared images, it looks like the new generation Grand Cherokee SUV will have some design improvements, but it’s hard to confirm the fresh elements provided by the brand.
Inside, the Jeep could offer an updated instrument panel that retains its overall form, sloping from the driver and cradling a horizontal infotainment screen above the gear shifter and the center console. It also appears the same cherry wood trim from the last four years will continue to be offered in this latest iteration of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
But the image indicates that below the screen are new capacitive touch buttons for climate controls and physical knobs, possibly for audio volume and sound settings. It is also expected that the passenger side display screen can be improved in size compared to available in the 2025 model.

The exterior teaser image shows a close-up of the driver side front corner and half the grille portion, suggesting some tweaks on the lower front fascia, while the headlamps, signature seven-slot grille will be retained. The sheet metal looks unchanged if the visible creases and the wheel well shape are carefully reviewed.
As per the available information, the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee will continue to be assembled in Detroit, Michigan, and feature the same available powertrain options, including a plug-in hybrid. The standard variant of the Grand Cherokee comes mated with two rows of seats, while the extended version, Grand Cherokee L, gets a three-row seating configuration.
