It’s a shame the two-door 8 Series coupe is probably being discontinued, but the Gran Coupe is a great luxury car that combines high-end materials, a smooth driving experience, and speed if you choose the larger powertrain. The 8 Series Gran Coupe starts at $91,700 for the base model 840i with rear-wheel-drive. Depending on which version you choose, this Gran Coupe comes with either a 3.0-liter turbo six-cylinder that makes 335 horsepower or a 4.4L turbo V8 that makes 523 hp. Some standard luxury features include soft-close automatic doors and heated front seats, armrests and steering wheel.

Porsche expanded its lineup of hybrid Panamera models. One prime example that makes our list with a score of 8.6 is the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid. The base model E-Hybrid comes with all-wheel-drive as standard, and starts at $115,500. For that much money, you get a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain that makes a combined 463 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The 4 E-Hybrid is capable of reaching 60 mph from a standstill in 3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package, and its top speed is 174 mph. Standard luxury features to compliment its sportiness are 14-way comfort seats, and you can choose an optional 10.9-inch display on the passenger side that allows for video streaming.

If you’re in the market for a high-end, comfortable driving experience, but need to haul the whole family around with you, then here’s a respectable option. The Aviator starts at $58,930. Powering this SUV is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 400 hp and 415 lb-ft. That’s a good base to build from, so Lincoln fits up to seven passengers inside, and a max of 77.7 cubic feet of storage. Some standard luxury features include Lincoln Embrace, which Lincoln describes as a highly choreographed dance of illumination, including taillight and headlight sequences, and heated and ventilated front seats.

The world of fancy cars is not limited to gas and hybrids. One prime example of all-electric luxury is the BMW iX, which directly competes with the Audi SQ8 e-tron and the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV. The iX is available as either the xDrive50, which starts at $87,250, or the sportier M60 model that starts at $111,500. Being an AWD EV, the iX has two electric motors that make a combined 516 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque in the base model, and the M60 makes 610 hp and 749 lb-ft. Some standard luxury features in the xDrive50 include a “panoramic eclipsing sky lounge” roof and a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot.

The base model EQS 450+ Sedan starts at $104,400, and comes with a single electric motor that powers the rear wheels with 355 hp and 419 lb-ft. Mercedes-Benz won’t let you down in terms of luxury features, either. Some standard equipment in the base model includes 64-color ambient lighting and heated/ventilated front seats. You can also choose optional multicontour front seats with massage.

Among the most expensive premium cars is the Bentley Continental GT Speed. When we had a chance to drive this car at the end of last year, it made us realize it’s a Bentley you want to drive, not just be driven in. Like most Bentleys before it, you must inquire to discover how much the Continental GT Speed will cost, but we can expect a base price of over $300,000. For that much money you get a 4.0-liter V8 PHEV powertrain that provides a total of 771 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Of course, you can expect the highest quality materials inside, like the new “3D diamond hide” used on the seats and door panels.

A luxurious SUV that more people will find attainable is the Genesis GV80. This year’s model got a refreshed look to keep competing with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. There are a handful of trims to choose from, with the base model starting at $58,200. Four of the six trim levels are powered by a 2.5-liter turbo-four-cylinder that makes 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque, and the two most expensive options are powered by a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 375 hp and 391 lb-ft. Genesis elevates the GV80’s driving experience with a 27-inch OLED gauge cluster and navigation screen.

This Audi is less expensive and more powerful than its direct rival, the Mercedes-AMG S63 E Performance. The S8 starts at $125,300, and many owners will assure you that it’s worth the price. Under the hood is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that makes 563 hp and 590 lb-ft that’s capable of bringing the sedan from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Some of the S8’s standard features include heated, ventilated, massaging front seats, quad-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
